SERVICES-TREAT, INSTALL, PREVENT

Insulation Removal

Removing insulation from under a subfloor helps prevent moisture buildup. The insulation can trap moisture and lead to condensation, which can cause mold growth and other problems. By removing the insulation, it helps to create an airflow that prevents the buildup of moisture and reduces the risk of mold and other moisture-related problems.

Mold Remediation

Mold remediation is the process of removing or treating mold and fungus growth from a home's basement or crawl space. This process is necessary to prevent airborne pathogens from spreading throughout the home, which can lead to health risks for the occupants. It also helps to reduce the risk of any structural damage that can be caused by mold. Our remediation not only kills mold and fungus but restores wood to like new, as well as dentures insects such as spiders and cockroaches.

Exterior Waterproofing

The purpose of exterior waterproofing around a home is to prevent water from entering the foundation and basement of the home. Exterior waterproofing involves installing drainage systems and ensuring proper grading around the home to direct water away from the foundation. By keeping water away from the foundation, exterior waterproofing helps to protect the home from water damage and maintain a healthy living environment.

Crawlspace Waterproofing

Crawlspace waterproofing protects and prevents your home from water damage, mold growth, and structural issues. Waterproofing a crawlspace starts with installation of a French drain around the entire perimeter of the crawl space, installation of a sump pump, and applying a moisture barrier to the floor of the crawl space. This will keep water out and help to prevent moisture buildup and mold growth.

Moisture Barrier

A moisture barrier, also known as a vapor barrier, is a layer of material that is placed between the crawlspace and the subfloor of a house. The purpose of a moisture barrier is to prevent moisture from entering the crawlspace and creating a damp, humid environment. This helps to reduce the risk of mold growth and other moisture-related problems. Moisture barriers come in several different sizes.

Encapsulation

Crawlspace encapsulation is a process of sealing a crawlspace in a home or building to create a moisture barrier and prevent outside air and water from entering. This is typically done by covering the ground with a vapor barrier, sealing the crawlspace vents, and insulating the walls as well as installing a dehumidifier to control crawlspace moisture at all times. Encapsulation can help improve indoor air quality, prevent mold growth, and increase energy efficiency by reducing moisture and heat transfer.

Floor Braces

These heavy-duty adjustable steel floor braces are engineered to provide superior support and stability for wood framing floor systems. Designed for placement on durable poly footers, they are built to securely support a triple-layered 2x6 supplemental beam.

Each brace features a precision screw-adjustment mechanism, allowing for precise lifting and leveling of floor systems to ensure proper alignment and weight distribution. Constructed from high-grade steel with a corrosion-resistant coating, these braces offer durability and long-lasting performance even in challenging conditions.

Ideal for structural reinforcement, these braces are perfect for addressing sagging or uneven floors.

Wood Repair

Repairing the foundation of a home usually involves identifying and addressing any issues with the structural integrity of the foundation; such as rot or termite damage to wooden components, these areas will need to be repaired or replaced. We offer repairs to sill plate, rim joist, joists, girder and subfloor.

Basement Waterproofing

If you're dealing with a wet basement, it could be due to issues like poor grading around the foundation, hydrostatic pressure on foundation walls, or foundation settling. Our waterproofing solution is designed to protect your home's structural integrity by eliminating water intrusion for good. We go the extra mile with a full basement waterproofing system that reduces moisture and humidity, ensuring long-term results. Unlike standard methods, our approach involves digging deeper to restore your slab to its original depth, creating a seamless and durable solution that keeps your basement dry and your home safe.

General Services

Crawlspace Clean-out

A crawl space clean-out is the process of removing debris, dirt, and other materials from the crawl space of a home.

Crawlspace Leveling

When the crawl space is level, it helps to ensure that there is no sinking or shifting of the foundation, which can lead to water settling in the space. By leveling the crawl space, it helps to prevent water from entering and causing damage to the home.

Ductwork Repair

Duct Replacement and re-insulation of ductwork. Air ducts are insulated to help prevent the loss of heated or cooled air. Over time ducts are damaged and the insulation becomes brittle and needs to be replaced.
